Ahoy—I’ll be celebrating my 45th birthday on the high seas and I want you to join me. It’ll be like the Semester at Sea we never had but with drinks, drag shows, dancing and debauchery. Or simply relaxing in our oceanview hammocks and escaping it all. For 6 delicious days, we’ll be livin’ la vidaloha from Honolulu & LA to Cabo San Lucas. (Guac is extra and so are we, babes.)

CRUISES?

…until I read about Virgin Voyages. Child-like wonder, but child-free, this is an adult-only experience on a brand new ship that’s distinctly different from all the others. I did a lot of research; this felt like a cruise ship for non-cruise folks.

    Ain’t no buffets: the eateries onboard are curated and run by Michelin-starred chefs with a taste for every palate

  • Hammock with a view

    All of the Sea Terrace cabins come with a gorgeous view of the water and your very own luxe hammock for a little R & R

  • Kid-ulting hard

    With a candy shop, retro arcade, ice cream parlor, record store, magic shows and more, let’s all feel forever young at heart

  • Self care

    Treat yo self: let’s pamper ourselves at the spa, hair salon, barber shop, gym, or even hit up the tattoo parlor

  • Fun in the sun

    The intimate pool decks are giving private yacht feels for the perfect spot to lie on a daybed, catch a tan, and detox (or retox)

  • Time for some dranks

    A multitude of different bars and lounges onboard range from dive bar to captain’s quarters for a new atmosphere every day
